Is it possible to get a new phone with the 2 year contract discount before the contract is up?

Right now I have an old and cheap phone from Verizon. I want to buy an enV2 at the discounted price of $100 with a 2 year contract. As of now, my current contract ends in April 2009. Is it possible to get the enV2 at the cheaper price before April 2009?
