How do i know if my new cell phone case has lead paint?
So i recently bought a new cell phone case its plastic( silver paint i guess, underneath i think its white plastic)…and the label says it came overseas from china and on it it said this :
“I, the undersigned, whose name and address are given on the item, certify that the particulars given in this declaration are correct and that this item does not contain any dangerous article or articles prohibited by legislations or by postal or custom regulations…”
is lead even prohibited by lesgilation in china? pls help me!
Lead paint is a problem if ingested. Don’t lick your phone case or chew on it. Otherwise, it won’t hurt you. The biggest problem with lead paint on products from China is when the paint is on childrens’ toys. Kids put toys in their mouths.
